Race 1: Camp Edge Classic
Camp Edge: Camp Edge Road, Alloway, NJ 08001
Sunday, April 18th, 2021
The Camp Edge Classic is back for 2021! Home to our own Salem County Reactors Team, Camp Edge is a truly wonderful race venue. The team hosts a fundraiser race every fall at the same venue, “Shred the Edge”, which benefits both the camp and the team. The course is approximately 60% twisty single track, with short punchy climbs and a really amazing infield. Spectators will enjoy the ample opportunities to see racers throughout the course. We are so happy to partner with Camp Edge to offer the NJICL a truly unique race weekend.
Race 2: Lewis Morris Mania
Lewis Morris Park: Sunrise Lake Drive, Morristown, NJ 07960
Sunday, May 2nd, 2021
Lewis Morris Park is a popular mountain biking destination and no stranger to competition, having been the home of Marty’s Lewis Morris Challenge for many years. The race loop is 2.75 miles long with 300 feet of climbing, and a mix of 1/3 double track, 2/3 sweet flowing single track. Definitely some extra fun stuff to look forward to!
Race 3: Chester Challenge
Highlands Ridge Park: 50-120 North Road, Chester, NJ 07930
Sunday, May 16th, 2021
Beautiful vistas and a great mix of fun single and double track will be greeting us at Highlands Ridge Park. The grounds surrounding the venue used to be the home of AT&T’s Bell Labs. Be sure to check out the telephone pole farm by the entrance. The race lap is 2.5 miles long with 220 feet of climbing, and it’s definitely a venue that will reward physical fitness.
Race 4: Quick Slick Six TT
Six Mile Run: 102 Jacques Lane, Somerset, NJ 08873
Sunday, June 6th, 2021
The NICA course features a fun mix of twisty, punchy single track and power-on stretches of double track. Not a huge amount of climbing (only around 250’ per lap), but definitely enough for you to feel a good sting in your legs.
