We are excited to announce that registration is op

We are excited to announce that registration is open for our NJ NICA Coaches On The Bike (OTB) classes. All coaching level classes will be available - 101, 201, and Race Essentials/Advanced Skills. These classes are great for both new coaches and experienced coaches to get the necessary CEU's to keep their NJ NICA coach license current.

The dates are November 14-15, 2020, and will take place at Washington Valley Park, Martinsville, NJ.

OTB 101 is on Saturday morning from 9 am - 12:30 pm. This is the foundational course of our skills series and a requirement for level 2 and 3 coach certification. Use this link to register for OTB 101 - https://bit.ly/2HwNurO.

Saturday afternoon will be a special offering of Race Essentials/Advanced Skills course. You must have previously completed OTB 201 to participate. Don't miss this one! If you are interested in furthering the NJICL mission and playing a strategic role in the development of youth mountain biking in New Jersey, we would love to speak with you about joining our Advisory Board.

The Advisory Board meets four times per year and provides program support, fiduciary oversight, and strategic direction to the League Director. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for youth development and embrace the NJICL mission, vision, and values.

We are always looking for additional race day staff to increase our "bench strength" and better serve our community. We are particularly seeking folks to assist with operations. We will also be shopping a compensated position as parking manager. Thanks to the amazing support that we receive from the Carolan Foundation and league sponsors Jamis Bikes & Trek Bicycle, we have been able to fulfill all loaner bike requests to date! Loaner bikes are for those families in financial need who would otherwise be unable to provide a suitable bicycle for the student. With the bicycle supply chain heavily impacted by the pandemic, we expect delays this year in securing additional bicycles. We will do our best to handle all requests, and are currently exploring all options to ensure every student who wants to participate can do so! Speak to your Head Coach to find out how to apply.
